Heavy-Duty Group 24 Lithium Battery Tray (For Epoch 12V 105Ah)
A low-profile Group 24 lithium battery tray and battery hold down solution for secure RV, marine, van, and off-grid installs.
The Epoch Group 24 battery tray is built to help secure Group 24 footprint batteries like the Epoch Essentials 12V 105Ah and 12100-ECO models. Whether you are mounting a lithium battery in an RV battery bay, marine compartment, van electrical cabinet, or off-grid solar system, this tray gives you a cleaner Group 24 battery box alternative with a compact, service-friendly battery hold down layout.
Built for clean battery installations
The Ultimate Group 24 Battery Mounting Solution
Keep your battery locked down through rough roads, chop, vibration, and daily movement.
A loose battery is a safety hazard. Whether your system is bouncing down washboard trails, pounding through rough water, or riding inside an RV compartment, the battery needs to stay in place. This Group 24 lithium battery tray helps create a secure mounting point for your Group 24 battery without taking up the extra space of a bulky enclosed battery box.
Use it as an Epoch 12V 105Ah battery tray, a Group 24 lithium battery tray, or a practical battery hold down accessory for protected RV, marine, trailer, van, and off-grid battery installations where the tray fitment is verified.
Precision Fit for the Epoch Essentials 12V 105Ah
This tray is listed for the Epoch Essentials 12V 105Ah battery, SKU 12105A-H, and the 12100-ECO model. It is a natural add-on for customers building a compact lithium RV, marine, van, or off-grid power system around the Epoch Group 24 footprint.
Universal BCI Group 24 Compatibility
Because the supported Epoch batteries use a Group 24-style footprint, this tray can also serve as a premium mounting solution for many standard Group 24 deep-cycle batteries. Always verify your battery’s base dimensions and terminal clearance before installation.
Built for Harsh Marine & RV Environments
Secure battery retention for vibration, travel, and everyday service access.
Boats, RVs, trailers, vans, and off-grid systems all expose batteries to vibration and movement. A secure tray and lithium battery tie down can help prevent chafed wires, broken terminal connections, cracked cases, and movement-related battery damage.
Vibration-Controlled and Rough-Water Ready
Securing the battery reduces the chance of shifting during rough-water operation, trailering, washboard roads, or high-vibration mobile use. Proper installation helps protect battery terminals, wiring, fuses, and connected equipment.
Heavy-Duty Tie-Down System
A tray-style hold-down system keeps the battery seated while preserving access to terminals and cables. Confirm current package contents before installation, then use the supplied or compatible strap/hardware to secure the battery to a solid mounting surface.
Compatible applications
Marine, RV, van, solar, off-grid, and utility battery compartments.
- ✓ RV house battery compartments using Group 24 lithium batteries.
- ✓ Marine house-power systems where a Group 24 battery needs secure retention.

Group 24 Battery Tray FAQs
Common questions about fitment, internal dimensions, tie-downs, battery boxes, and marine battery mounting.
Will this tray fit any Group 24 battery?
This tray is designed for the Epoch Essentials 12V 105Ah lithium battery, SKU 12105A-H, and the Epoch 12100-ECO model. Because those batteries use a Group 24-style footprint, the tray can also work as a Group 24 battery tray for many standard Group 24 lithium or lead-acid batteries. Always compare your battery base dimensions, terminal clearance, and hold-down location before ordering.
What are the exact internal dimensions of this battery tray?
The current Epoch product page confirms the tray fits Group 24 size batteries but does not publish exact internal tray dimensions. For reference, the Epoch 12V 105Ah battery measures 10.25 in L × 6.75 in W × 9.00 in H. Verify your battery base dimensions against the physical tray before final installation.
Does this tray come with a tie-down strap and mounting hardware?
The current live product page does not publish a detailed package-content list for the tray, strap, or mounting screws. Confirm the current package contents at checkout or with Epoch support before installation. The product copy is written to support a battery hold-down installation, but final hardware verification should be done before mounting.
Is a battery tray better than a battery box?
For many modern LiFePO4 installations, a low-profile tray can be easier to service than a bulky battery box because lithium batteries do not vent corrosive gases during normal use like flooded lead-acid batteries. A tray saves space, keeps terminals easier to inspect, and allows better airflow, but the best choice depends on your compartment, exposure, and installation rules.
Do I really need a tray for a lithium battery?
Yes. Lithium batteries are much lighter than traditional lead-acid batteries, which means they are easier to move but also easier to shift if not secured. A properly mounted tray and hold-down system helps prevent sliding, bouncing, cable strain, terminal damage, and vibration-related failures in boats, RVs, vans, and off-grid systems.
Will this tray meet Coast Guard requirements for marine use?
A battery tray can help meet marine battery hold-down expectations when it is correctly mounted to the boat and the battery cannot move excessively. U.S. recreational-boat guidance commonly requires batteries to be secured so they cannot move more than one inch in any direction and terminals must be protected. Final compliance depends on installation quality, hardware, terminal covers, compartment design, and local inspection requirements.
Can I use this tray in an RV or van build?
Yes. This tray is a good fit for protected RV compartments, camper cabinets, van electrical bays, and off-grid battery locations where a Group 24 lithium battery needs a secure, low-profile mounting solution. Always fasten the tray to a solid structure using hardware appropriate for the installation surface.
Which Epoch battery pairs best with this tray?
The tray pairs directly with the Epoch Essentials 12V 105Ah LiFePO4 battery, SKU 12105A-H, and is also listed for the 12100-ECO model. If you are upgrading your system, this tray is a strong companion accessory for the lightweight, Bluetooth-enabled Epoch 12V 105Ah lithium battery.
