36V 15A Lithium Battery Charger - Epoch Batteries
Marine LiFePO4 charging power
36V 15A Marine Lithium Battery Charger | IP67 Waterproof
A rugged 36V marine lithium battery charger built for trolling motor batteries, wet boat compartments, and fast fishing-trip turnaround.
The Epoch 36V 15A charger is a smart 36V LiFePO4 charger for boaters who need dependable charging after long days on the water. Built for 36V trolling motor battery systems, this IP67 waterproof battery charger uses a dedicated LiFePO4 charge profile, 120V AC input, ring-terminal output, up to 95% charging efficiency, and a shock-resistant aluminum heatsink housing for marine, RV, and mobile use.
Built for anglers and marine charging
Built for the Water: Marine-Grade Durability
Designed for damp boat compartments, rough water, and life around the dock.
Cheap chargers often fail because they are not built for vibration, damp storage, and harsh marine use. The Epoch 36V smart charger is engineered for the realities of a boat: sealed IP67 protection, a shock-resistant design, and an aluminum alloy housing that helps dissipate heat while protecting the electronics.
IP67 Dustproof & Waterproof
IP67 protection helps defend against dust, salt air, heavy splashing, rain, and temporary water exposure. This makes the charger well suited for damp marine battery compartments, center consoles, and onboard charging setups.
Aluminum Heatsink Housing
The lightweight aluminum alloy housing doubles as a heatsink, helping dissipate heat efficiently while avoiding the vulnerability of open, exposed ventilation paths in harsh marine environments.
Rugged Shock Resistance
The shock-resistant design is built for storage and operation in mobile environments such as boats and RVs, helping it handle trailering, chop, and vibration better than lightweight indoor-only chargers.
Fast, Foolproof Smart Charging
Dedicated LiFePO4 charging for expensive 36V trolling motor batteries.
Lithium batteries require the right charging profile. This 36V LiFePO4 charger is designed to safely charge 36V lithium iron phosphate batteries, helping protect cell balance, battery lifespan, and on-water reliability.
Dedicated LiFePO4 Charge Profile
This charger is designed for 36V lithium iron phosphate batteries, not lead-acid or AGM batteries. The lithium profile helps deliver the voltage and current behavior required by advanced 36V marine lithium batteries.
15-Amp Fast Charging Turnaround
The 15A output helps reduce downtime. A 36V 50Ah trolling motor battery can charge from empty in roughly 3.3 to 3.5 hours, while a 36V 100Ah battery takes roughly 6.7 to 7 hours before taper and balancing.
Auto Protection and Safety Features
Built-in safeguards include overtemperature, ambient temperature, reverse polarity, overcharge, output overvoltage, output overcurrent, and output short-circuit protection.
Plug-and-Play Onboard Installation
Easy Ring Terminal Connections
The output uses ring terminals that bolt directly to battery posts for a secure connection. To charge, connect the charger to your compatible 36V LiFePO4 battery, then plug the input into a standard 120V AC outlet.

36V 15A Marine Lithium Battery Charger FAQs
Common questions about onboard mounting, charge times, safety protection, and LiFePO4 compatibility.
Can I mount this charger permanently inside my boat as an onboard charger?
Yes. The Epoch 36V 15A charger is built with IP67 waterproof and dustproof protection, shock-resistant construction, ring-terminal output connections, and a lightweight aluminum housing that doubles as a heatsink. It can be used as a semi-permanent onboard marine charger in a dry, secure mounting location with proper cable routing and strain relief.
How long will it take to charge my 36V trolling motor battery?
Charging time depends on battery capacity and starting state of charge. Because this charger outputs 15A, divide your battery amp-hour capacity by 15 for a rough estimate. A fully depleted 36V 50Ah battery takes about 3.3 to 3.5 hours, while a 36V 100Ah battery takes about 6.7 to 7 hours before normal charge-taper and balancing time.
Is it safe to leave this charger plugged in after the battery is full?
This is an intelligent LiFePO4 charger with overcharge, overvoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, short-circuit, and reverse-polarity protection. It is designed to protect the battery during normal charging, but you should still follow Epoch’s charging and storage guidance for long-term unattended use.
Can I use this charger for a 36V lead-acid or AGM battery?
No. This charger is intended for 36V lithium iron phosphate batteries. Its LiFePO4 charge profile is designed for lithium voltage requirements and should not be used on traditional lead-acid, AGM, or gel batteries.
What happens if I accidentally hook the cables up backward?
The charger includes reverse polarity protection. If the positive and negative leads are connected incorrectly, the protection circuit is designed to prevent output and help protect the charger and battery from damage.
Can I use this charger on three 12V lithium batteries wired in series?
This charger is optimized for a dedicated 36V LiFePO4 battery. If you use three separate 12V lithium batteries wired in series, a multi-bank 12V lithium marine charger is usually preferred so each 12V battery can be individually charged and balanced.
What outlet does the charger plug into?
The charger uses standard 120V AC input power, making it convenient for marina outlets, garage outlets, shop power, and common household charging locations.
Is this charger waterproof?
Yes. Epoch lists this charger as IP67 rated, meaning it is dustproof and waterproof, including protection against temporary immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It should still be mounted securely and protected from physical damage, crushed cables, and standing-water abuse.
