Built to go further
Maximum Power, Minimum Footprint
Replace a messy multi-battery lead-acid bank with one space-saving battery bank.
Van builders and RVers fight for every inch of storage and every pound of payload. The Epoch Essentials 12V 460Ah lithium battery consolidates high-capacity energy storage into one 84 lb package, helping eliminate unnecessary parallel wiring, reduce connection points, and free up valuable space in benches, under-bed electrical compartments, and RV battery bays.
With nominal energy roughly comparable to five standard 12V 100Ah lead-acid batteries—and far more usable capacity in real-world RV use—this high-capacity RV battery is ideal for simplifying a boondocking power setup without sacrificing runtime.
Built for Four-Season Boondocking
Automatic Internal Heating
Charging lithium cells below freezing can damage them, so the cells never take charge while any battery temperature reading is below 0°C (32°F). Instead, incoming solar, shore power, or DC-to-DC charge current (at least 0.5A from a connected charger) powers internal heating pads — never the battery's stored energy — and charging resumes automatically once the battery reaches 5°C (41°F). With heating, the charge temperature range is -20°C to 55°C (-4°F to 131°F); the heating system is tested to -20°C (-4°F) and rated for external ambient temperatures down to -40°C (-40°F).
IP54 Splash Resistance & Rugged Build
The IP54 enclosure is dust-protected and splash-resistant for standard RV battery boxes, storage bays, and high-vibration mobile environments. It is ideal for protected compartments, but it is not submersible and should not be pressure-washed or installed where standing water can collect.
Smart Power Management & Heavy Load Output
Run Heavy RV Loads with a 200A BMS
The 200A continuous Smart BMS allows this single battery to output roughly 2,560 watts at 12.8V before inverter losses. That makes it a strong match for properly designed 2,000W to 2,500W inverter systems powering microwaves, espresso machines, hair dryers, induction cooktops, and other common off-grid RV loads. The 400A peak discharge rating, for up to 10 seconds, helps handle short startup surges; size continuous loads, cables, and fuses to the 200A continuous rating.
Real-Time Bluetooth Monitoring via the Epoch Li-Ion App
The built-in Bluetooth RV battery monitor connects to the free Epoch Li-Ion app on iOS or Android so you can check state of charge, battery voltage, current draw, and temperature from the comfort of your camper bed—without installing a separate external shunt, because the shunt is built into the BMS (0.2A accuracy on discharge). The Bluetooth security PIN is printed on the battery's lid and can be changed in the app under Advanced Settings.
Essential Expandability & 11-Year Limited Warranty
Build a bigger battery bank when your energy needs grow.
For extreme energy demands, up to 4 of these batteries can be wired in parallel for a massive 1,840Ah 12V battery bank, or up to 4 can be wired in series to create higher-voltage systems up to 48V. Use matched batteries and follow Epoch installation guidance for all series or parallel configurations.
The 4,000+ cycle life and 11-year limited warranty (3 years of free replacement, then 40% off MSRP on a replacement battery through Year 11) make this battery a long-term investment for RVers, van builders, solar installers, and off-grid users who want reliable high-capacity lithium storage.
