Maximize Your Space: The Ultimate RV & Marine Upgrade
Replace three 100Ah batteries or a heavy lead-acid bank with one compact 3.84kWh lithium battery.
300Ah in a Group 31 footprint
Get 300Ah of lithium capacity in a compact case measuring 13.75 in long at the base, 7.63 in wide, and 10.00 in high. Allow 15.5 in of handle length and 10.5 in of height with terminal bolts when checking RV compartments, marine hatches, and battery trays.
Massive weight reduction at only 58 lbs
This 58-lb 300Ah battery replaces bulky, heavy lead-acid capacity with a compact lithium design that is easier to lift, easier to position, and easier to integrate into weight-sensitive RV, boat, and van builds.
Power heavy appliances with 200A continuous output
The 200A continuous discharge rating and 400A peak for up to 3 seconds support demanding 12V inverter loads when paired with properly sized cabling, fusing, and lithium-compatible system equipment. For sustained loads, 150A (0.5C) is the recommended discharge current.
Smart Tech Built for the Elements
Heated 12V lithium battery performance with Bluetooth visibility and IP54 protection.
Cold weather ready: internal self-heating
The BMS never starts charging while any battery temperature reading is below 0°C (32°F). Instead, a connected charger supplying at least 0.5A powers internal heating pads, using incoming charge current only and never the battery's stored energy, and charging resumes automatically once the battery reaches 5°C (41°F). The heating system is tested to −20°C (−4°F) and rated for external ambient temperatures down to −40°C (−40°F), making it a strong cold weather RV battery for shoulder-season camping and marine storage conditions.
Eliminate guesswork: Bluetooth app monitoring
Use the Epoch Li-Ion app for iOS or Android to view important battery information from your phone, including state of charge, voltage, current, temperature, and battery status. A BMS-integrated shunt measures current with 0.2A accuracy on discharge, so no external shunt monitor is needed.
IP54 weather and dust protection
The IP54-rated enclosure is dust-protected and splash-resistant for everyday RV battery bays, van compartments, and marine house-power environments. It is not designed for submersion.
Scalability & 11-Year Reliability
Build the 12V, 24V, or 48V power system your application requires.
Expand up to 4S4P
Connect up to 4 matched batteries in series for 48V systems or up to 4 matched batteries in parallel for a 1,200Ah 12V bank. Maximum configuration is 4S4P when installed according to Epoch guidance.
4,000+ cycles and 11-year limited warranty
LiFePO4 chemistry delivers long service life, stable voltage, and maintenance-free operation. This Epoch Essentials model is backed by an 11-year limited warranty (3 years of free replacement, then 40% off MSRP on a replacement battery through Year 11).
Advanced BMS protection
The built-in smart BMS helps protect against overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuit, and high or low temperature conditions for safer deep-cycle power.

Fitment and charging note
Verify tray dimensions, cable clearance, and charger settings before installation.
Always confirm battery tray dimensions, Group 31 fitment, handle clearance, terminal-bolt height, cable routing, charger compatibility, and system requirements before installation. Use a lithium-compatible charger, inverter charger, converter, solar charge controller, or DC-to-DC charger programmed within Epoch’s recommended charging parameters, and tighten the M8 terminal bolts to 8–12 N·m. For series or parallel battery banks, use matched batteries of the same model, age, capacity, and state of charge.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about replacing three 100Ah batteries, inverter sizing, heating, Bluetooth, 4S4P expansion, and storage.
Can I replace three 100Ah batteries with this single 300Ah battery?
Yes. A single Epoch 12V 300Ah Essentials battery provides 3.84kWh of stored energy, which is equivalent to three 12V 100Ah lithium batteries. Using one 300Ah battery can save space, reduce overall wiring complexity, simplify battery balancing under one BMS, and eliminate the need to route thick parallel cables between multiple smaller batteries.
How does a 300Ah battery fit into a Group 31 case?
Epoch uses high-density LiFePO4 cell technology and an efficient internal layout to fit 300Ah of capacity into a compact Group 31 footprint. The battery measures 13.75 inches long at the base, 7.63 inches wide, and 10.00 inches high, with 10.5 inches of height including terminal bolts and 15.5 inches of length at the handles. Always verify tray, hatch, terminal, and cable clearance before installation.
What size inverter can a single 12V 300Ah Essentials battery run?
This battery has a 200A maximum continuous discharge rating and a 400A peak discharge rating for up to 3 seconds. At 12.8V nominal, 200A is about 2,560W of DC output before inverter losses, so a single battery is commonly suited for 12V inverter systems in the 2,000W to 2,400W class when installed with proper cabling, fusing, inverter sizing, and load management. For sustained loads, 150A (0.5C) is the recommended discharge current.
How does the internal heating work for winter RV camping?
Charging lithium cells below freezing can damage them, so the BMS never starts charging while any battery temperature reading is below 0°C (32°F). Instead, a connected charger supplying at least 0.5A powers internal heating pads, using incoming charge current only and never the battery's stored energy. Charging resumes automatically once the battery reaches 5°C (41°F). The heating system is tested to −20°C (−4°F) and rated for external ambient temperatures down to −40°C (−40°F).
Is the Epoch Essentials battery waterproof?
The 12V 300Ah Essentials battery has an IP54-rated enclosure. That means it is dust-protected and splash-resistant for everyday RV, marine house-power, and mobile use. It should not be submerged, pressure-washed, or installed where standing water can collect around the battery.
Can I use this battery to start my boat or RV engine?
No. The Epoch 12V 300Ah Essentials is a dedicated deep-cycle LiFePO4 battery designed for house power, inverters, appliances, trolling motors, lighting, pumps, and other prolonged 12V loads. It is not designed to provide the instantaneous cold cranking amps required to start gas or diesel engines. For starting applications, use a cranking-rated or dual-purpose battery that matches your engine manufacturer’s requirements.
Can I wire these 300Ah batteries in series to create a 24V or 48V system?
Yes. The 12V 300Ah Essentials battery supports a maximum configuration of 4 batteries in series and 4 batteries in parallel, or 4S4P. You can wire two matched batteries in series for a 24V system, four matched batteries in series for a 48V system, or up to four matched batteries in parallel for a 1,200Ah 12V bank. Follow Epoch’s installation guidance and use matched batteries of the same model, age, capacity, and state of charge.
Does this battery have Bluetooth monitoring?
Yes. A BMS-integrated shunt measures current with 0.2A accuracy on discharge, and the built-in Bluetooth module sends state of charge, voltage, current, temperature, and battery status to the free Epoch Li-Ion app for iOS and Android. The Bluetooth security PIN is printed on the battery's lid; you can change it in the app under Advanced Settings.
How should I store the battery?
For long-term storage, charge the battery to about 50% state of charge, disconnect loads and chargers, and store it clean and dry at 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F) where practical. Check the state of charge at least every 3 months and recharge as needed.
